Custom web applications, built on modern frameworks.

We build web software as custom applications, not templated sites — client portals, internal tools, dashboards and platforms with real logic behind them. If a project also needs a public-facing site, we'll build that too, on the same foundation.

Most of the web work we do isn't a brochure site — it's an application. Something with logins, permissions, data that changes per user, and business logic that has to be right. We build these as custom software from the ground up, on frameworks we can extend and maintain for years, rather than assembling a site out of a page builder or a plugin ecosystem we don't control.

That also shapes what we don't do. We don't build on WordPress, Joomla, or open-source shopping cart platforms — not because there's anything wrong with them for what they're intended for, but because they're built for content publishing and generic storefronts, not for custom application logic. If a project genuinely calls for a public marketing site alongside the application, we'll build that too, on the same custom foundation. It's just not the kind of work that makes up most of what we do.

Web applications are the core of what we build

When your project needs user accounts, a dashboard, role-based access, or data that's different for every visitor, you're building a web application — and that's where we spend most of our time. We build these on modern, actively maintained frameworks with a clear separation between what renders on the server and what runs in the browser, so the app stays fast as it grows instead of getting slower with every feature added. Authentication, role-based access, and third-party integrations — payment gateways, CRMs, booking systems — are handled as first-class parts of the architecture from the outset, not late additions bolted on under deadline pressure.

Built custom, not assembled from a template

We don't build on WordPress, Joomla, or open-source shopping cart platforms like WooCommerce or Magento. Those tools are built for content publishing and generic storefronts at a price point that depends on volume, not for applications with real business logic behind them. Every project we take on is written and structured specifically for what that business needs — which means no fighting a plugin ecosystem to make the software do something it wasn't designed for, and no inherited security surface from thousands of third-party plugins we didn't write and don't control.

Content you can actually update yourself

A site that only your developer can edit becomes a site that stops getting updated. Depending on how much your content changes and who's doing the updating, we build in a content layer that fits — from a simple admin panel for structured content, through to a full content management system for larger teams. Either way, the goal is the same: you should be able to publish a page or update your data without opening a support ticket and waiting for a developer to have time.

Support that doesn't end at handover

Web projects age. Frameworks release security updates, dependencies drift out of date, and traffic patterns change as your business grows. We offer ongoing maintenance so your application keeps performing the way it did on launch day — patched, monitored, and backed up — rather than slowly degrading until something breaks in production and nobody notices until a customer complains about a checkout that no longer works.

When a project does call for an online store

Most of the applications we build aren't storefronts — but when a client needs one, we build it custom rather than reaching for an open-source cart platform. That means the checkout, inventory and pricing logic are built around how that specific business actually operates, instead of being configured around the assumptions of a generic e-commerce plugin. It's the exception in our project list, not the default, and we're upfront about that: if a template-based store genuinely fits the budget and requirements better, we'll say so rather than sell a custom build nobody needs.
